CHINOOK TRIATHLON FESTIVAL - Calgary, Alberta
Featuring the:
6th Annual Chinook Half 119.1 & 2nd Annual 51.5 Olympic Distance
2010 Provincial Short Course Championships
On behalf of the Race Committee and all volunteers we Thank You for the kind words and positive response. It’s very encouraging to have a positive response from all of you.
Lost and Found: If you have lost something and would like to retreive it, we will be delivering all lost and found items to the Tri it Sports location later this week, please stop in there to pick up your belongings. If it’s not there then we don’t have it.
Awards and T-Shirts: We had a very low turnout for the Awards Banquet, we had over $10,000 in prizes to give away, $150 gift certificates to the Running Room, 3 wet suits, $450 prize from Impact magazine to name a few of the prizes. So a few athletes and volunteers walked away with some great stuff. If you finished in the top 3 in your age catagory, we have a beautiful Inuit Award to give you, it will be at Tri it Sports later this week for pickup. If you didn’t receive a T-shirt and would like one, we will have them available at Tri it Sports later this week, this is open to anyone that didn’t receive a shirt, weather you finished or not.

The Olympic Distanceis staged in and around Midnapore Lake and fabulous Fish Creek Park on segments of the scenic Chinook Half 119.1 k course. It may be shorter, but it’s not for the faint hearted!
