An Olympic distance has been added to the Chinook Half Iron 119.1 k distance event which will enable athletes who prefer a shorter distance event to participate.

The Olympic course is as follows:

1.5 k + 40 k + 10 k

IMPORTANT!

The Chinook Tri Festival is an event sanctioned by the Alberta Triathlon Association. Participants, both Half Iron 119.1 k and Olympic distance, are required to follow ITU, TRICAN, ATA and Chinook Half Ironman rules and regulations. Please take some time to familiarize yourselves.

Lake Swim Practice Sessions
Too cold to swim in the lake now! Check back in May : )

Email your registration request to chinookswim@gmail.com with a maximum of 30 per swim session. Do not call Marcelo (Swim Captain) or the Lake Residence Association as they will not be able to accommodate you. Please keep your requests to one swim only as we have 450 athletes that are asking as well.
